Thank you for your interest in ministering at the Crossroads Chapel at the Minnesota State Fair. We are looking forward to twelve exciting days (Thursday, August 26 - Monday, September 6) and are anticipating a lot of great ministry happening at the fair through the Crossroads Chapel and its guests.
For those interested in participating this summer at the Crossroads Chapel, please complete the 2010 application and return it to the Crossroads Ministries office. We are requesting that all applicants include a non-returnable audiocassette, compact disc, or videotape demonstration of your ministry. If you have previously performed at the Chapel within the last 3 years, you do not need to send in a demo.
We have extended the applications deadline to July 16. Please submit application and demo to the Crossroads Ministries office by this time. Each group that is selected will be given a time slot on a first-come, first-serve basis. If selected, you will be contacted no later than Friday, July 23 regarding the decision to schedule your ministry at the Crossroads Chapel. Please note when filling out the preferred day/time form: the weekend time slots are full.
Participation at the Crossroads Chapel is free will and voluntary. No remuneration will be given. All guests are asked to cover their own admission to the Fair. An admission ticket is needed for each person in the performing group. Regular admission at the gate is $11.00. Discount tickets may be purchased starting in July until August 26th for $9.00 at all participating Cub Food Stores and several out-state locations. The purpose of our ministry at Crossroads Chapel is to provide a welcoming environment for people to gather while pointing them to and exalting Jesus Christ. Crossroads Ministry’s Statement of Faith is attached for your review. We minister through music and message, using a variety of media and performers. This emphasis should be considered when completing the following application and potentially sharing your ministry at the Crossroads Chapel.
