In the early years of the Chapel ministry, a tent was erected annually where Christian films and Sunday services were provided to fairgoers.

In 1962 a permanent Chapel was constructed next to the Education building.  It was the first and only religious building on the fairgrounds.

In 1986 the current facility (located on Underwood Ave) was constructed by volunteers who used materials from the dismantled previous Chapel.

Garage sales were held at the Chapel for many years. Proceeds from the sale supported the ministries of GSPAE.

A new avenue of ministry began at the Chapel with the addition of one small shelf of inspirational books for sale. As the Christian publishing market grew, so did the Chapel book corner.  Ron and Betty Swanson managed the Bookstore for many years. Today, Judy Ekback volunteers her time for this ministry.

Two brothers walked through the doors of the Chapel. They received the Lord that day. God has used the talents of Steve and Gary Gamble throughout the years.
